Video Toaster

The NewTek Video Toaster is a combination of hardware and software for the editing and production of standard-definition in NTSC, PAL, and resolution independent formats on Commodore Amiga computers and subsequently on computers running the Windows operating system. It comprises various tools for video switching, chroma keying, character generation, animation, and image manipulation. The Video Toaster won the Emmy Award for Technical Achievement in 1993.
