Geography
The district includes the neighbourhoods of Fairview, False Creek, Yaletown, Coal Harbour, Downtown Vancouver, the West End, Davie Village, the western extreme part of Strathcona, the easternmost part of Kitsilano, and Stanley Park in the City of Vancouver. The riding is quite young, affluent and diverse, with a large LGBT population, which has made Vancouver Centre one of the safest seats in Western Canada for the Liberals.
