Famous quotes containing the words vacancy and/or chain:

    The darkest pit
Of the profoundest hell, chaos, night,
Nor aught of blinder vacancy scooped out
By help of dreams can breed such fear and awe
As fall upon us often when we look
Into our minds, into the mind of man.
    William Wordsworth (1770–1850)

To avoid tripping on the chain of the past, you have to pick it up and wind it about you.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
