The UWA World Tag Team Championship is a tag team professional wrestling championship created by the Mexican Universal Wrestling Association and defended there until the UWA closed in 1995.

After the UWA's closing, the title was inactive until 2008, when El Dorado Wrestling revived the title. On March 26, 2008, Kota Ibushi and KAGETORA won the title in Tokyo, Japan at El Dorado's Eye of the Treasure event, defeating MAZADA and NOSAWA. The current champions are Brahman Shu and Brahman Kei. Famous quotes containing the words world, tag and/or team:

Our Lord Jesus Christ, my brethren, is our hero, a hero all the world wants.
    Gerard Manley Hopkins (1844–1889)

I believe in the flesh and the appetites,
Seeing, hearing, feeling, are miracles, and each part and tag of me
    is a miracle.

Divine am I inside and out, and I make holy whatever I touch or am touch’d from,
The scent of these arm-pits aroma finer than prayer,
This head more than churches, bibles, and all the creeds.
    Walt Whitman (1819–1892)

They’re two good old friends of mine. I call them Constitution and The Bill of Rights. A most dependable team for long journeys. Then I’ve got another one called Missouri Compromise. And a Supreme Court—a fine, dignified horse, though you have to push him on every now and then.
    Dan Totheroh (1895–1976)
