University Circle (RTA Rapid Transit Station) - History

History

The station opened along with the rest of the CTS Rapid Transit on March 15, 1955 and was originally named "Cedar–University" or "University–Cedar" station, highlighting its connection with the bus lines that ran down Cedar Avenue from Cleveland Heights.
