Founded in 1996 by Thierry Genoyer, United World Telecom (UWT) began as a switch-based international callback provider. UWT has since added a number of international calling and call forwarding services, including virtual calling cards, voice over IP, direct dial, call forwarding, and toll free numbers. The company serves a global market and offers reseller and agent partner programs to those interested in starting their own telecommunications business.
United World Telecom has its own switching center located in a professional telecommunications center in Miami and utilizes multiple underlying Tier 1 carriers to connect calls.
