Uncle Howie Records

Uncle Howie Records is a record label owned by rapper Ill Bill, of (the now defunct) Non Phixion. The label was named after Ill Bill's uncle, Howard "Howie" Tenenbaum. Uncle Howie Records started off in 1998 as simple in prints on Non Phixion's 12" singles and now includes acts as Non Phixion, Ill Bill, Sabac Red and DJ Eclipse. They have since signed album/12" deals with underground acts like Q-Unique, Immortal Technique, E-Dot, Steven King and Cyn Roc. Label owner Ill Bill is the brother of underground hip hop musician Necro. Necro himself owns and operates Psycho+Logical-Records, and there have been numerous collaborations between artists of the two companies.

Famous quotes containing the words uncle and/or records:

If Uncle Sam should ever sell that tract for one cent per acre, he will swindle the purchaser outrageously.
State of Utah, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

Although crowds gathered once if she but showed her face,
And even old men’s eyes grew dim, this hand alone,
Like some last courtier at a gypsy camping-place
Babbling of fallen majesty, records what’s gone.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
