Umaru Bangura (born October 7, 1987 in Freetown, Sierra Leone) nickname Zingalay, is a Sierra Leonean international footballer. He is a right midfielder and currently plays for Haugesund in the Tippeligaen division and for the Leone Stars, Sierra Leone national football team. He made his senior international debut for Sierra Leone on September 3, 2006 in 2008 African Nations Cup qualifier in Freetown.
Bangura is an automatic starter for Sierra Leone. He played full 90 minutes in all six games for Sierra Leone during the 2010 FIFA World Cup and African Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea Bissau, Nigeria and South Africa. Bangura started in all three games for Sierra Leone at the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Finland.
