Ulikkal

Ulikkal is a small town in Kannur District in Kerala. It is part of Ulikkal Panchayath.It is really an amazing place to visit. The town is surrounded by small villages.The people of this area is very adaptable and amicable,who lives in harmony;irrespective of religion. Ulikkal area was under the dominance of Kallyatteshman(master of kalliad)and this area witnessed Christian migration(kudiyettam)in 1950s mainly from southern districts of Kottayam and Ernakulam.
