Trimeresurus is a genus of venomous pitvipers found in Asia from Pakistan, through India, China, throughout Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. Currently 35 species are recognized. Common names include Asian pit vipers, Asian lanceheads and Asian lance-headed vipers.
