Located originally at the campus of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Durham College, Trent-in-Oshawa built its own campus on Thornton Road which officially opened on Monday, October 18, and was inaugurated for the 2010-2011 academic year. Over 800 students attend Trent-in-Oshawa, which is home to a number of tenure-track professors, as well as to staff who are based at the main campus. Students can study full- or part-time for degrees in Anthropology, Biology, Computer Information Systems, Cultural Studies, English, Environmental & Resource Studies, History, Psychology, Sociology, Women's Studies, and the new Business Administration program.
