Previous Indoor Speed Record
A TF105 set the previously nonexistent indoor speed record on an episode of Top Gear during the eighth series. With the ExCeL Exhibition Centre empty, The Stig set a record of 81 mph, due to the lack of grip on the polished floor and the limited distance. The speed has since been broken by the American Top Gear host Tanner Foust with his Ford Fiesta Rallycross.

Famous quotes containing the words previous, indoor, speed and/or record:
“Our talk of external things, our very notion of things, is just a conceptual apparatus that helps us to foresee and control the triggerings of our sensory receptors in the light of previous triggering of our sensory receptors.”
—Willard Van Orman Quine (b. 1908)
“As a man grows older, his ability to sit still and follow indoor occupations increases. He grows vespertinal in his habits as the evening of life approaches, till at last he comes forth only just before sundown, and gets all the walk that he requires in half an hour.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“Life is too short to waste
In critic peep or cynic bark,
Quarrel or reprimand:
Twill soon be dark;
Up, heed thine own aim, and
God speed the mark!”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“The record of ones life must needs prove more interesting to him who writes it than to him who reads what has been written.
I have no name:
I am but two days old.
What shall I call thee?
I happy am,
Joy is my name.
Sweet joy befall thee!”
—William Blake (17571827)
