Other Characters
- Miyo Kireida (奇麗田見代) - Naoko Matsui
- Also called みっちゃん (officially romanized as "Mitchan"), Miyo is a beautiful little girl from the school Yoichi goes to. Because Yoichi is unlucky, Mitchan absolutely hates him, but loves him when he is Luckyman.
- Desuyo Busaiku (不細工です代) - Urara Takano
- Another girl from Yoichi's school, who is rather big and ugly in appearance, in sharp contrast to Mitchan. Also unlike Mitchan, Desuyo is absolutely in love with Yoichi. This is another sign of Yoichi's bad luck.
- Ikuzou Mini (身仁育三) - Chafurin
- Umatarou Yaji (屋治馬駄朗) - Kenichi Ogata
- Gakudai Ken (見学大) - Mitsuaki Madono
- Ikuzou is a greengrocer, Umatarou is the owner of a ramen shop, and Gakudai is a salaryman. But all-in-all, they are simply three old men who follow Luckyman on his adventures and watch him defeat aliens, for the majority of the anime (they did not appear in the manga).

Famous quotes containing the word characters:
“Though they be mad and dead as nails,
Heads of the characters hammer through daisies;
Break in the sun till the sun breaks down,
And death shall have no dominion.”
—Dylan Thomas (1914–1953)
“When the characters are really alive before their author, the latter does nothing but follow them in their action, in their words, in the situations which they suggest to him.”
—Luigi Pirandello (1867–1936)
