Tomb Kings (Warhammer)

Tomb Kings (Warhammer)

In Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy fictional universe, Tomb Kings is the name given to a series of kingdoms, and an army in the Warhammer Fantasy Battle game. Up until and including the fifth edition of Warhammer, there was an all-inclusive Undead army, with the skeletons and mummies being the predecessor to what would be known as the Tomb Kings. For the sixth edition in 2002, the Undead were split into the Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts (considered more of a direct successor to the old Undead) with an expanded back-story that details the rife between the two factions. The current Army Book of the Tomb Kings was released in May 2011 for the Eighth Edition of Warhammer Fantasy.

Famous quotes containing the words tomb and/or kings:

Laid out for death, let thy last kindness be
With leaves and moss-work for to cover me:
And while the wood-nymphs my cold corpse inter,
Sing thou my dirge, sweet-warbling chorister!
For epitaph, in foliage, next write this:
Here, here the tomb of Robin Herrick is.
    Robert Herrick (1591–1674)

Father, father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!
    Bible: Hebrew, 2 Kings 2:12.

Elisha of Elijah, meaning he is more important than these.
