Tom Anderson

Thomas "Tom" Anderson (born 8 November 1970) is a US internet entrepreneur. He co-founded the social networking website Myspace in 2003 with Chris DeWolfe, and was later president of Myspace and a strategic adviser for the company until he left in 2009. Because newly-created Myspace accounts initially included Tom as a default "friend", his face became known as the default picture of Myspace, and he is often referred to as "Tom from Myspace" or "Myspace Tom".

Famous quotes containing the words tom and/or anderson:

New York state sentence for a Peeping Tom is six months in the workhouse. And they got no windows in the workhouse. You know, in the old days they used to put your eyes out with a red-hot poker.
    John Michael Hayes (b. 1919)

Life seems to be an experience in ascending and descending. You think you’re beginning to live for a single aim—for self-development, or the discovery of cosmic truths—when all you’re really doing is to move from place to place as if devoted primarily to real estate.
    —Margaret Anderson (1886–1973)
