The Wreck Today
The ship rests in 70 feet of water less than a mile outside the entrance of the Duluth harbor at the Aerial Lift Bridge. The stern of the ship is substantially complete, though a large section of the hull of the midship has been broken apart due to other ships dragging anchors through the wreck. The interior of the ship has survived largely intact, with relatively few artifacts having been removed by divers.

Famous quotes containing the words wreck and/or today:
“My belief is that science is to wreck us, and that we are like monkeys monkeying with a loaded shell; we dont in the least know or care where our practically infinite energies come from or will bring us to.”
—Henry Brooks Adams (18381918)
“The intelligence suffers today automatically in consequence of the attack on all authority, advantage, or privilege. These things are not done away with, it is needless to say, but numerous scapegoats are made of the less politically powerful, to satisfy the egalitarian rage awakened.”
