The Real World: Hawaii - The Residence

The Residence

The cast resided in a 4,095-square-foot (380.4 m2), single story, three bedroom, four bathroom house at 3169 Diamond Head Road in Diamond Head, Hawaii. The property's two-story guest house housed the Control Room and production offices during the filming. At the time of the filming of the series, the Diamond Head House rented for $10,000.00 USD a month, and was listed for sale for $7,500,000 in 2006. By March 2008, both houses were torn down, and new building permits were issued in February 2008.

Famous quotes containing the word residence:

If you would feel the full force of a tempest, take up your residence on the top of Mount Washington, or at the Highland Light, in Truro.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

My residence was more favorable, not only to thought, but to serious reading, than a university; and though I was beyond the range of the ordinary circulating library, I had more than ever come within the influence of those books which circulate round the world, whose sentences were first written on bark, and are now merely copied from time to time on to linen paper.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
