The music in The Wind Waker was composed by Kenta Nagata, Hajime Wakai, Toru Minegishi, and Koji Kondo. The game's soundtrack, Zelda no Densetsu ~Kaze no Takt~ Original Sound Tracks (ゼルダの伝説～風のタクト～オリジナル・サウンド・トラックス, Zeruda no Densetsu ~Kaze no Takuto~ Orijinaru Saundo Torakkusu), was released on March 19, 2003, and comes in a two disc set featuring one hundred and thirty-three tracks. The music has an Irish influence, and some pieces feature uilleann pipes. The theme for Dragon Roost Island, which was composed by Nagata, is more influenced by Andean or Incan music, relying heavily on pan flute and guitar. Several pieces from The Wind Waker are featured in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The mandolin played in the intro story scene was borrowed from Shigeru Miyamoto.
