Web Cast
Ten Sports and media company NBCUniversal launched a new, free, cricket-focused multi-platform sports portal, which made its debut with the Web cast coverage of the first match in the series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka on September 8, 2009. NBC Universal Digital Solutions (NBCUDS) will syndicate live cricket Web cast to its selected syndication partners for wider distribution. The portal featured live Web cast of full cricket matches that encompass exclusive content from half of the world’s cricket boards, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Following the purchase of the company by Zee Telefilms, this venture ended.

Famous quotes containing the words web and/or cast:
“For us necessity is not as of old an image without us, with whom we can do warfare; it is a magic web woven through and through us, like that magnetic system of which modern science speaks, penetrating us with a network subtler than our subtlest nerves, yet bearing in it the central forces of the world.”
—Walter Pater (1839–1894)
“For it is with the mysteries of our religion, as with wholesome pills for the sick, which swallowed whole, have the virtue to cure; but chewed, are for the most part cast up again without effect.”
—Thomas Hobbes (1588–1679)
