Tedim

Tedim (Burmese: တီတိန်မြို့; Official name Tiddim) is a town and seat of Tedim Township in Chin State in the northwestern part of Burma. The name "Tedim" was derived from a pool on the top of the hills that used to be twinkling under sun's light, therefore, called "te (bright, shine)" and "dim (twinkling, sparkling)" in local Zomi language. There are four major parts or divisions in Tedim (inside Tedim town) such as Sakollam, Myoma, Lawibual and Leilum.
