Tatiana's parents, Dr. José Ramón Palacios Ortega and Diana Perla Chapa de Palacios, are Mexican citizens, native to Monterrey, Mexico, but she was born in Pennsylvania because her father was attending the University of Pennsylvania at the time. Under U.S. and Mexican law, Tatiana is a dual citizen of Mexico and the U.S.. The family soon returned to Mexico, and Tatiana grew up in Monterrey, where she currently lives.
