Record Division
Talent Associates also had a record division which released a total of only 4 LP titles. The soft rock duo Seals and Crofts were signed to TA Records in 1969. After releasing two albums on TA which received little attention the group moved to Warner Bros. Records in 1971 where they recorded a string of hit albums and singles during the mid-1970s. Another TA Records group, The Original Caste, reached #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with the original recording of One Tin Soldier in 1970.

Famous quotes containing the words record and/or division:
“He will not idly dance at his work who has wood to cut and cord before nightfall in the short days of winter; but every stroke will be husbanded, and ring soberly through the wood; and so will the strokes of that scholars pen, which at evening record the story of the day, ring soberly, yet cheerily, on the ear of the reader, long after the echoes of his axe have died away.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“Major [William] McKinley visited me. He is on a stumping tour.... I criticized the bloody-shirt course of the canvass. It seems to me to be bad politics, and of no use.... It is a stale issue. An increasing number of people are interested in good relations with the South.... Two ways are open to succeed in the South: 1. A division of the white voters. 2. Education of the ignorant. Bloody-shirt utterances prevent division.”
—Rutherford Birchard Hayes (18221893)
