Famous quotes containing the words tainted and/or love:

    Pleasure only starts once the worm has got into the fruit, to become delightful happiness must be tainted with poison.
    Georges Bataille (1897–1962)

    “Ah, do not mourn,” he said,
    “That we are tired, for other loves await us;
    Hate on and love through unrepining hours.
    Before us lies eternity; our souls
    Are love, and a continual farewell.”
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
