System Requirements - Recommended System Requirements

Recommended System Requirements

Oftentimes manufacturers of games will provide the consumer with a set of requirements that are different than those that are needed to run a software. These requirements are usually called the Recommended Requirements. These requirements are almost always of a significantly higher level that the minimum requirements, and represent the ideal situation in which to run the software. Generally speaking this is a better guideline than minimum system requirements in order to have a fully usable and enjoyable experience with a software.

Famous quotes containing the words recommended and/or system:

There is not a greater paradox in nature,—than that so good a religion [as Christianity] should be no better recommended by its professors.
    Laurence Sterne (1713–1768)

The dominant metaphor of conceptual relativism, that of differing points of view, seems to betray an underlying paradox. Different points of view make sense, but only if there is a common co-ordinate system on which to plot them; yet the existence of a common system belies the claim of dramatic incomparability.
    Donald Davidson (b. 1917)
