Post-game Riots

In Pittsburgh, mostly in the South Side and Oakland neighborhoods, riots broke out on the streets after the Steelers' victory. Rioters—mostly college students—caused about $150,000 in estimated damages. More than 60 people were arrested during and after the rioting, and at least two students were suspended. Two of the Steelers' former homes, Forbes Field and Pitt Stadium, were in the Oakland neighborhood, while their current training facility (UPMC Sports Complex) is in the South Side.
