- A character with Stel's likeness is seen in a non speaking role in the Justice League Unlimited episode "The Return". He is also seen briefly in Batman: the Brave and the Bold in the mini adventure before the episode "Day of the Dark Knight."
- Stel makes an appearance in the 2011 film Green Lantern, in several scenes as a background character. An action figure of the character, featuring a more insect-like appearance, was released in conjunction with the film. The figure was based on early concept designs for Stel, and not the version that actually appears in the film.
