Traveller received legal copyright threats due to the fact that Traveller Supplement 4: Citizens of the Imperium included game statistics for Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in it as sample characters.

Famous quotes containing the words games and/or inspired:

The rules of drinking games are taken more serious than the rules of war.
    Chinese proverb.

It was not reason that besieged Troy; it was not reason that sent forth the Saracen from the desert to conquer the world; that inspired the crusades; that instituted the monastic orders; it was not reason that produced the Jesuits; above all, it was not reason that created the French Revolution. Benjamin Disraeli (1804–1881)
