Since the end of World War II, St Helens have seen 19 new bosses at the helm at Knowsley Road. Currently, the position is held by Australian Mick Potter, but he will allow his contract to expire at the end of the season, meaning the club will welcome Royce Simmons; their sixth coach since the 1996 start of Super League in 2011.
