Splashtop

Splashtop is a remote desktop software solution that allows users to connect to and control their computer from a mobile computing device, such as an iPad, iPhone, webOS, or Android device. The company has evolved from a developer of an embedded "instant-on" commercial Linux distribution (built into the motherboard of PC vendors and other device manufacturers) into a software developer of remote-control and streaming technology. Both Splashtop Remote and Splashtop OS are explained in this article.
