Smith Reynolds Airport - Prior Service

Prior Service

Capital, Eastern and Piedmont had flights until 1961; after that, just Piedmont and its successors. Nonstops may never have reached beyond Washington and Atlanta. The airport maintains high volume and income with its private aircraft through Landmark Aviation

Famous quotes containing the words prior and/or service:

    They never taste who always drink;
    They always talk who never think.
    —Matthew Prior (1664–1721)

    I like the silent church before the service begins, better than any preaching. How far off, how cool, how chaste the persons look, begirt each one with a precinct or sanctuary!
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
