Shorncliffe Railway Line - Line Guide and Services

Line Guide and Services

Most services stop at all stations to Roma Street railway station. The typical travel time between Shorncliffe and Brisbane City is approximately 33 minutes (to Central). During weekday peak times, a few services may skip stations between Northgate and Bowen Hills, except Eagle Junction, for faster travel times for commuters working in the Brisbane central business district.

During the weekday daytime off-peak, services generally terminate at Roma Street, as it is one of the few lines that are not paired with another line. On weekends, services extend to South Bank railway station on the Beenleigh, Cleveland and Gold Coast lines.

Passengers for/from the Caboolture and Nambour and Gympie North lines change at Northgate, Airport and Doomben lines at Eagle Junction, Ferny Grove line at Bowen Hills, and all other lines at Central.

Famous quotes containing the words line, guide and/or services:

The real dividing line between early childhood and middle childhood is not between the fifth year and the sixth year—it is more nearly when children are about seven or eight, moving on toward nine. Building the barrier at six has no psychological basis. It has come about only from the historic-economic-political fact that the age of six is when we provide schools for all.
James L. Hymes, Jr. (20th century)

With my desire to write he seemed in full sympathy, and in urging our early marriage he argued that my first necessity was leisure in which to develop and to master my craft. It appeared to me that with such a man as teacher and guide I could not fail, and it was in a queer mixture of young love and vaulting ambition that I became a wife.
    Rheta Childe Dorr (1866–1948)

Those services which the community will most readily pay for, it is most disagreeable to render.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
