Career
Sand submitted photos to Playboy's Los Angeles photo editors. She did a test shoot that Hugh Hefner approved and became the Playmate of the Month for May 1996. Sand began her acting career with a guest appearance alongside future husband Lorenzo Lamas in his TV show Renegade.
After their divorce, she appeared in TV shows such as Charmed, and in movies such as the comedy The Deviants (2004).
