Shakuntala

In Hinduism Shakuntala (Sanskrit: शकुन्तला, Śakuntalā) is the wife of Dushyanta and the mother of Emperor Bharata. Her story is told in the Mahabaratha and dramatized by Kalidasa in his play Abhijñānaśākuntala (The Sign of Shakuntala).
