Technology
During the 2012-2013 academic year, Serra Catholic instituted a 1:1 Google Chromebook program for all students. In addition, the school has implemented Google Apps for Education, enabling students, faculty, and staff to utilize Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Sites.
All Serra Catholic teachers are provided with a laptop that they can use during their classes and at home. Around 70% of the school’s classrooms are also equipped with interactive whiteboards, which the teachers use throughout their classes.

Famous quotes containing the word technology:
“Our technology forces us to live mythically, but we continue to think fragmentarily, and on single, separate planes.”
—Marshall McLuhan (1911–1980)
“Technology is not an image of the world but a way of operating on reality. The nihilism of technology lies not only in the fact that it is the most perfect expression of the will to power ... but also in the fact that it lacks meaning.”
—Octavio Paz (b. 1914)
“Primitive peoples tried to annul death by portraying the human body—we do it by finding substitutes for the human body. Technology instead of mysticism!”
—Max Frisch (1911–1991)
