Sea Port Airlines
SeaPort Airlines is an US-based regional airline with its headquarters on the grounds of Portland International Airport in Portland, Oregon. It operates scheduled service from its bases at Portland International Airport (PDX), Memphis International Airport (MEM), and San Diego International Airport (SAN). Its services are divided into three distinct geographic regions (Pacific Northwest, Mid-South, Southwest) and there are no connections between its two hubs.
From a base in Juneau, Alaska SeaPort Airlines operates throughout Southeast Alaska using the brand Wings of Alaska. This was the name of the commuter airline purchased by SeaPort Airlines, Inc. to begin its flights between Seattle and Portland. The Alaska and Lower 48 operations share the same FAA operating certificate and management team.
SeaPort Airlines uses the callsign "Sasquatch" to communicate with air traffic controllers. The carrier played off this in early 2013 when it introduced "Roger, The SeaPort Airlines Sasquatch" as the airline's mascot.

Famous quotes containing the words sea and/or port:
“They call them the haunted shores, these stretches of Devonshire and Cornwall and Ireland which rear up against the westward ocean. Mists gather here, and sea fog, and eerie stories. Thats not because there are more ghosts here than in other places, mind you. Its just that people who live hereabouts are strangely aware of them.”
—Dodie Smith, and Lewis Allen. Roderick Fitzgerald (Ray Milland)
“When we think back to our forefathers, with their sedentary lives of forest-chopping, railroad-building, fortune-founding, their fox-hunting and Indian taming, their prancing about in the mazurka and the polka, with their coattails flying and their bustles bouncing, to say nothing of their all-day sessions with the port and straight bourbon,... we must realize that we are a nation, not of neurasthenics, but of sissies and slow-motion sports.”
—Robert Benchley (18891945)
