Career
Scott made his first big step in his professional music career in 1991 when he became one of the first members of the hip hop group The Roots as a keyboard player. Storch's first big commercial hit was when he collaborated with Dr. Dre and helped produce the riffs for the song "Still D.R.E.". Storch's most successful commercial hit was "Lean Back", a 2004 single by Fat Joe. In 2006 Scott had another son, Josh Scott Storch with Dalene Daniel, his on and off girlfriend of four years. After commercial and artistic success, he became addicted to cocaine and lost his fortune which included his mansion in Miami, $20 million dollar yacht and all of his sports cars.
On February 4, 2012, Storch was arrested in Las Vegas for possession of cocaine and was released on bond.

Famous quotes containing the word career:
“It is a great many years since at the outset of my career I had to think seriously what life had to offer that was worth having. I came to the conclusion that the chief good for me was freedom to learn, think, and say what I pleased, when I pleased. I have acted on that conviction... and though strongly, and perhaps wisely, warned that I should probably come to grief, I am entirely satisfied with the results of the line of action I have adopted.”
—Thomas Henry Huxley (182595)
“Like the old soldier of the ballad, I now close my military career and just fade away, an old soldier who tried to do his duty as God gave him the light to see that duty. Goodbye.”
—Douglas MacArthur (18801964)
“Work-family conflictsthe trade-offs of your money or your life, your job or your childwould not be forced upon women with such sanguine disregard if men experienced the same career stalls caused by the-buck-stops-here responsibility for children.”
—Letty Cottin Pogrebin (20th century)
