Garland currently lives in the Orlando, Florida area with his two children. Garland is a Walt Disney World aficionado, and owns a season pass to the park.
Garland appeared in-character, alongside Kid Kash in the December 2009 video for the Irish band, Fight Like Apes' single "Do You Karate". In 2010, he completed filming a movie called Ultimate Death Match 3, which also featured other wrestlers.
