Saturday Night Fiber - Conception

Conception

Saturday Night Fiber was somewhat of a Benicàssim spin-off; organisers of the festival said that they created the festival to "geographically diversify the cultural offering of its brother festival", and had spent a number of years looking for a second location since the first Benicàssim in 1995. In contrast to Benicàssim, the festival lasts overnight, as opposed to a full camping music festival.

Famous quotes containing the word conception:

    The world ‘s a bubble, and the life of man
    Less then a span:
    In his conception wretched, from the womb
    So to the tomb;
    Curst from his cradle, and brought up to years
    With cares and fears.
    Francis Bacon (1561–1626)

    It is possible—indeed possible even according to the old conception of logic—to give in advance a description of all ‘true’ logical propositions. Hence there can never be surprises in logic.
    Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889–1951)

    Into all that becomes something inward for men, an image or conception as such, into all that he makes his own, language has penetrated ... logic must certainly be said to be the supernatural element which permeates every relationship of man to nature, his sensation, intuition, desire, need, instinct, and simply by so doing transforms it into something human, even though only formally human, into ideas and purposes.
    Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770–1831)
