The San Xavier Indian Reservation (O'odham: Wa:k) is located near Tucson, Arizona in the Sonoran Desert. It is the smaller eastern section of the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation, the homeland of the tribe known as the Tohono O'odham Nation.
The San Xavier Reservation lies in the southwestern part of the Tucson metropolitan area and consists of 111.543 sq mi (288.895 km²) of land area, about 2.5 percent of the Tohono O'odham Reservation's territory. It had a 2000 census resident population of 2,053 persons, or 19 percent of Tohono O'odham's population.
