History
Northeast Primary School formerly educated in grades K-6. In 1995, Rutland Intermediate School was formed from the former Rutland High School and Northeast reduced to K-2. The new Rutland High School is now located on Stratton Road.
In the year 2002-03, the district did not make adequate yearly progress toward No Child Left Behind educational standards.
