Rumic World - English Edition

English Edition

Viz Media initially published two Rumic World stories in English: Fire Tripper (1989) and Laughing Target (1990). It subsequently (1996) published five volumes of the Rumic World collection, three under that name and under the "Rumic Theater" name. The contents of the volumes correspond to the Japanese-language collections, but the stories are in a different order in some of the books.

Some of Takahashi's stories were printed in Manga-vizion magazine.

All were printed in "flipped" style in a larger comic-sized format. They are no longer in print.

Famous quotes containing the words english and/or edition:

The explanation of the propensity of the English people to portrait painting is to be found in their relish for a Fact. Let a man do the grandest things, fight the greatest battles, or be distinguished by the most brilliant personal heroism, yet the English people would prefer his portrait to a painting of the great deed. The likeness they can judge of; his existence is a Fact. But the truth of the picture of his deeds they cannot judge of, for they have no imagination.
    Benjamin Haydon (1786–1846)

I knew a gentleman who was so good a manager of his time that he would not even lose that small portion of it which the calls of nature obliged him to pass in the necessary-house, but gradually went through all the Latin poets in those moments. He bought, for example, a common edition of Horace, of which he tore off gradually a couple of pages, read them first, and then sent them down as a sacrifice to Cloacina: this was so much time fairly gained.
Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (1694–1773)
