Rudy Sarzo - Book

Book

In 2006, Sarzo wrote a book entitled Off the Rails, a biographical account of his time in Ozzy Osbourne's band in the early 1980s, and centers mainly on his memories of guitarist Randy Rhoads, a close friend who died in a 1982 plane crash during the Diary of a Madman American tour.

Famous quotes containing the word book:

In the learned journal, in the influential newspaper, I discern no form; only some irresponsible shadow; oftener some monied corporation, or some dangler, who hopes, in the mask and robes of his paragraph, to pass for somebody. But through every clause and part of speech of the right book I meet the eyes of the most determined men; his force and terror inundate every word: the commas and dashes are alive; so that the writing is athletic and nimble,—can go far and live long.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

Once I planned to write a book of poems entirely about the things in my pocket. But I found it would be too long; and the age of the great epics is past.
    Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874–1936)

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
    Bible: Hebrew Psalms, 116:15.

In the Book of Common Prayer, the lines are rendered: “Right dear in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” (Psalm 116:13)
