Other Members of The Royal Family
Variants of the Queen's royal standard are used by two other members of the Canadian Royal Family: Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. These banners were developed by the Canadian Heraldic Authority over a three month period and revealed on 29 June 2011, just prior to that year's royal tour by the Duke of Cambridge.

Famous quotes containing the words members, royal and/or family:
“A multitude of little superfluous precautions engender here a population of deputies and sub-officials, each of whom acquits himself with an air of importance and a rigorous precision, which seemed to say, though everything is done with much silence, Make way, I am one of the members of the grand machine of state.”
—Marquis De Custine (17901857)
“Not to these shores she came! this other Thrace,
Environ barbarous to the royal Attic;
How could her delicate dirge run democratic,
Delivered in a cloudless boundless public place
To an inordinate race?”
—John Crowe Ransom (18881974)
“Our civility, England determines the style of, inasmuch as England is the strongest of the family of existing nations, and as we are the expansion of that people. It is that of a trading nation; it is a shopkeeping civility. The English lord is a retired shopkeeper, and has the prejudices and timidities of that profession.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
