Sexual Abuse Scandal
In March 2012 Father Alexander Bede Walsh was sentenced to 22 years in prison for 21 counts of sexual abuse of boys in Coventry, Staffordshire and Warwickshire between 1975 and 1993. Archbishop Bernard Longley said he was "shocked and appalled" by the abuse.
