Since he joined the entertainment business, Domingo has been romantically linked to various local actresses that he previously worked with. Among those were: Nicole Uysiuseng (My Girl), Jessy Mendiola (Your Song Presents: Boystown), Empress (Shoutout!), and Andi Eigenmann (Kahit Puso'y Masugatan). Of the four, Mendiola admitted to Robi courting her but said nothing came out of it in the end. In addition, he has been very vocal about his crush on young actress Kim Chiu even while he was still inside the Big Brother House.
Domingo admitted to having dated two non-showbiz girlfriends, both his schoolmates from Ateneo, over the years but refused to divulge their identities to the public. However, in the middle of 2012, rumors started spreading that he is dating the popular member of the Ateneo Lady Eagles - Gretchen Ho. When confronted about the issue in various media outlets, and even teased on his own shows, Domingo remained mum and coy about it. It was only during a t.v. guesting on Kris TV in September that he first mentioned Ho's name - and even then, he refused to confirm that they were dating but maintained that she was someone special to him. In the following months, and in different t.v. guesting, Ho's name would always be mentioned but Domingo would insist that they aren't in a relationship. For her part, Ho would also deny that they are together, but admits that they are dating. In addition, the two would post personal pictures of them together, and would have sweet exchanges on twitter.
As it would turn out, during a guesting on Gandang Gabi, Vice!, Ho finally admitted that the reason why they aren't in an official relationship yet is because Domingo respects her decision to wait until her UAAP Volleyball career is over. Vice Ganda reminded her that the season was over, and there's nothing stopping them now. A month later, the two finally admits to being a couple, with Domingo being very vocal about his happiness. On his most recent guesting on The Buzz to promote The Voice of the Philippines, Domingo says this about Ho: "Whenever I think about her, whenever I talk about her - I can't wipe this smile off my face.
