River Mersey

The River Mersey ( /ˈmɜːzi/) is a river in North West England. It is around 70 miles (113 km) long, stretching from Stockport in Greater Manchester, to Liverpool Bay. For centuries, it formed part of the boundary between the historic counties of Lancashire and Cheshire.
