Ring Pop

Ring Pop is a brand of fruit flavored lollipops, usually in ring shape, manufactured by Topps. There are different flavors for ring pops. They were invented by Frank Richards.

Frank Richards' daughter was prone to thumb sucking. As a Product Engineer for Topps in Duryea Pennsylvania, he came up with the idea to thwart his daughter's bad habit by providing an option. Ring Pops were born. His daughter still sucks her thumb and Ring Pops live on.

Famous quotes containing the words ring and/or pop:

I saw Eternity the other night,
Like a great ring of pure and endless light,
    Henry Vaughan (1622–1695)
