Making It Vs Buying It
Switch matrices present a unique problem to test system designers as the signal conditioning needs, the frequency range, the bandwidth, and power aspects change from application to application. Famous quotes containing the words buying it, making and/or buying:
“The best way to teach a child restraint and generosity is to be a model of those qualities yourself. If your child sees that you want a particular item but refrain from buying it, either because it isnt practical or because you cant afford it, he will begin to understand restraint. Likewise, if you donate books or clothing to charity, take him with you to distribute the items to teach him about generosity.”
—Lawrence Balter (20th century)
“I take enormous pleasure every time I see something that Ive done that cannot be wiped out. In some way ... I guess its a protest against mortality. But its been so much fun! Its the curiosity that drives me. Its making a difference in the world that prevents me from ever giving up.”
—Deborah Meier (b. 1931)
“It is just as impossible to help reform by conciliating prejudice as it is by buying votes. Prejudice is the enemy. Whoever is not for you is against you.”
—John Jay Chapman (18621933)
