Restless Heart - 1991-1992: The Best of Restless Heart and Larry Stewart's Departure

1991-1992: The Best of Restless Heart and Larry Stewart's Departure

A greatest hits package, The Best of Restless Heart, followed in 1991. It included two new recordings, both of which were released as singles: "You Can Depend on Me" at No. 3 and "Familiar Pain" at No. 40. Larry Stewart left the band in 1991 to pursue a solo career, also on RCA. His solo debut single "Alright Already" was a Top 5 hit, and although none of his other singles reached higher than No. 34, he recorded four studio albums between then and 2002.

Famous quotes containing the words restless, larry, stewart and/or departure:

Our chaotic economic situation has convinced so many of our young people that there is no room for them. They become uncertain and restless and morbid; they grab at false promises, embrace false gods and judge things by treacherous values. Their insecurity makes them believe that tomorrow doesn’t matter and the ineffectualness of their lives makes them deny the ideals which we of an older generation acknowledged.
    Hortense Odlum (1892–?)

I’ve yet to meet a writer who could change water into wine, and we have a tendency to treat them like that.
Michael Tolkin, U.S. screenwriter, and Robert Altman. Larry Levy (Peter Gallagher)

... such is the horrible idea that I entertain respecting a life of servitude, that if I conceived of there being no possibility of my rising above the condition of servant, I would gladly hail death as a welcome messenger.
    —Maria Stewart (1803–1879)

    Some departure from the norm
Will occur as time grows more open about it.
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
