Research Institute For Mathematical Sciences

The Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences (数理解析研究所, Sūri Kaiseki Kenkyusho?) is a research institute attached to Kyoto University, hosting researchers in the mathematical sciences from all over Japan. The institute is often abbreviated as RIMS. RIMS was founded in April 1963.
